Be Victorious

“Remember to stay alert and hold firmly to all that you believe. Be mighty and full of courage. Let love and kindness be the motivation behind all that you do.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 TPT

Now, more than ever, this verse is one I hang onto. Staying alert, or being on guard, is necessary because the enemy likes to strike when we least expect it. As soon as you let your guard down there he is busting through the door of your heart and mind in an attempt to throw you off course.

We have to hold firmly to what we know and believe to be true about God because it is our unfailing defense. It takes might and courage to keep doing battle but God has a never ending supply if we’ll stay connected to Him.

One way we stay connected is to let love and kindness be the motivator of our actions, thoughts, and words. We can be victorious and it starts with the word, remember. We have to remind ourselves daily who’s we are, who He is, what He promises, how He loves, and what He says. Let’s be victorious today!
