Identity Can Make All The Difference

Such a crazy truth we’ve seen throughout all of history; Man concerns himself more with what others think than what God thinks. This is why knowing our identity is so important. When we know God and His character and how much He loves us we no longer feel the need to get approval from man.

We don’t need to live in fear for being expelled from the culture we live in because we’re not of the world we’re merely in it. We’re meant to be different and to radiate a love that draws unbelievers toward Christ. That alone makes us different.

When our focus is on pleasing God rather than on pleasing man we can reflect Him more accurately. If you struggle with knowing your identity, ask God to reveal His truth to you about who you truly are in Him. You are His chosen one!

“And yet [in spite of all this] many even of the leading men (the authorities and the nobles) believed and trusted in Him. But because of the Pharisees they did not confess it, for fear that [if they should acknowledge Him] they would be expelled from the synagogue; For they loved the approval and the praise and the glory that come from men [instead of and] more than the glory that comes from God.
