Keep Waiting

“Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you!”  Psalms 27:14 TPT

On those days when we think things will never get better, or we feel stuck, or we get weary, we need verses like this!  God will never disappoint us even though when we’re in the thick of things it seems just the opposite.

Being entwined as one with God is the key! What does that look like for you? I know for me that involves reading my Word daily, talking with God throughout the day, and always keeping a listening ear open to what He wants to say.

Keep waiting and be patient. God has a perfect timetable and He never misses the mark. It’s when we get impatient that we tend to intervene or give up and that interrupts the flow of what God is doing.

There are some days that we have to be brave and courageous and we do that by relying on the Holy Spirit and reminding ourself of all the times God has been faithful and done more than we expected. Keep waiting- God will come through!
