Renewing Our Mind

Renewing our mind is a constant process not a one time or once in awhile thing we attempt. It is a daily renewal because every single day we are faced with thoughts, images, and voices that are against God.

Renewing our minds is the job of Holy Spirit in our lives. When we daily read the Word we are renewing our mind. When we take every thought captive and line it up with the Word we are renewing our minds. When we pray, speak scripture out loud, hear the Word preached, worship, and fellowship we are renewing our mind.

God desires us to think like Him and to have a fresh mental and spiritual attitude every day! Let’s continuously renew our minds because it sets the course for everything we say, think, and do. 

“And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude], And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God’s image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:23-24 AMPC
