Unlocking Heaven

It’s good to be reminded of the authority that we have as Christ followers. I think we forget too easily that God has given us keys of the kingdom of heaven. The Amplified version describes it this way. Whatever we bind, or declare to be improper or unlawful, on earth must be what is already bound in heaven. Whatever we loose, or declare to be lawful on earth, must be what is already loosed in heaven. In other words, our declarations need to align with heaven and what God is doing.

God’s desire is to bring heaven to earth and He uses us to do that. When we see things going on around us that don’t agree with heaven it’s our responsibility to bind it up, with our declarations, and then loose what is in heaven into the earth to replace it.

Our voices are powerful so don’t just think a thing, speak it out loud! Our words activate the keys. Heaven can and will invade the earth if we agree with God for His will to be done.
